Distributor Stuck In Block

Anyone have any insight how to get a stuck distributor out of the block without breaking anything? It's seized in there pretty good.

Can you remove the oil pan and see about tapping it out from below?

Soak, soak, soak.......Carb cleaner and Blaster or Kroil. An oil filter wrench or strap wrench on the housing can help get it moving. Good luck!

As mentioned above soak it with the best penetrating oil you have. You might end up destroying the distro but strike it side to side with a rubber mallet on the vacuum advance. Once it moves drive it the other direction. Continue until it’s loose enough to pull. Usually it’s the aluminum steel contact that causes corrosion and locks the distro shaft in the block.
