Swapping Trans.

I have an 1980 f-250 4x4 with 351M and a stock 4spd trans.

Is there a 5spd trans that would bolt in?

Thank you

The only 5spd I know of that would come close would be a 5spod alison..but dont quote me

check around a bit and look the main thing is the splines and the bolt pattern of the bell housing

A smallblock (302/351w) ZF trans will not fit a 351m/400. The bolt pattern is different and the bellhousing is not removable.
