Blank odometer
I have a 99 eddie bauer expedition, and about three or four times a day my odometer goes dark and stays that way for about five minutes, then the display comes back. Accuracy is not affected. Anyone have any idea what causes this?

Does anyone know how to get to the instrument panel. I looked at the link and didn't see any instructions on how to get the panel open. I am a novice when it comes to car parts and taking things a part. Thanks.

Look on Ebay Motors!
There you can usually find someone who is selling an all inclusive service CD-Rom for the year your vehicle for $10. Also, you might want to see if you can find a Ford service DVD that includes all Ford models from 96-2003 which usually have buy-it now prices in the $25-$35 range.
