Stumbled on this site searching answers but figured I'd introduce myself.
Up until a couple of years ago, I drove various Ford trucks at work: '88 f700, ' 87 Ranger(?), '90/'99/'01 f350's, '04 f550, '2013 f750 & even owned a '96 Freightliner crane truck. During most of my driving life, I've owned (3) different Wranglers (current 2011 jk w/ hemi) I've always considered myself a Jeep Guy.
But recently, I've had a major change of heart.
Bought a '97 F250 7.3 a few weeks ago, needs some work but should be all good to go in acouple days. At that point, I'll be taking my jeep off the road completely to do repairs/maintenance & prep to sell summer/fall time frame.
Once I do that, I'll be slowly working on the f250 with expectations to sell probably next year around this time and pickup a later-year Raptor. Then, buy a banged up TJ Wrangler & throw a plow on it.
I'm expecting to put a plow on this 250 later this year.
One of the upgrades I want to do NOW, is install new Hid or Led headlamps. The problem is FINDING those lights!
My question is: do '97 250's have the same light mounts as the '97 350's? There seem to be alot more options.
And if not, any headlight mods you can recommend that'll fit or require minor adjustments to make some better lamps to fit?
