Need help finding the right paint to use on my gauge pod. My interior color code is 9E and is the lighter gray. I went to the dealer and they said they do not carry it but I have heard on previous posts that others have purchased it at dealers which leads me to think that it is problably not a ford product and was just carried at some dealers. If anyone has purchased it at the dealer and has the part# or manufacturer name it would help, I would like it to match as close as possible and am hesitant to just get the generic autoparts spray.
Yoson, you are right and your dealer is wrong. I'm sure Ford doesn't "make" the paint but they certainly sell it under their brand name, Motorcraft. Give your dealer your choice of the following Motorcraft Performance part numbers:
Light Parchment
M4JZ-19M547-1076H
Medium Parchment
M4JZ-19M547-1077H
Dark Parchment
M4JZ-19M547-1078H
Of course, parchment is not the color you want, but only the last couple of digits will change for your color group. With those numbers, even your dealer should be able to figure it out.

Average price seems to be about 350 for a set I picked the Western Diesel because I know the gauges match and are considered to be very acurate. My buddy has the isspro on this site and he is very happy with his also.
I bought mine at Diesel Dynamics in Las Vegas for $300. This included the 2 hole pillar mount, pyro and boost and came with detailed install instructions. Took a couple of hours to install as this was the first time.
