Good morning Nevada! Craig, had my left knee replaced, best thing I ever did. Works so well, I don't even think about it anymore!
Good Tuesday afternoon.
Pat I had both replaced & my left went septic. I got MERSA. Went into Septic shock, had respiratory failure, blood on the brain on one side and the other side lacked O2, also a heart arithmea that they shocked back, oh yea two blood clots. At least what the Trama doctors report said. I was in ICU for 10 days then transfer to a heart ward then off to a Care Center for a month. I have no memory of the first 4 days.
MERSA is deadly in short time. I'm only here because of a loving gracious God. Medically there is no reason I'm here, & 4 months later I'm doing good. Ready to get my knee back. I'm tired of walkers & wheel chairs, & having to go get my pick line flushed everyday a 7:30am. But I'm very Grateful to be alive & doing well & having so many people ready to help us with anything we need. I have had visitors almost everyday through this ordeal, from 4 different towns. The Load is Great & full of blessings if we just believe in him.
Good evening Nevada chapter.
My name is Timothy moved here not too long ago and recently picked up a 79’ F250 Ranger Lariat Trailer special. Making her into a custom hot rod but it will be a long journey. I’m active duty Air Force and deploy a lot so I’ll do work while I can.
Before I get off of here for the night. What do y’all think about convertible trucks?
Timothy, glad you joined us.
I'm not that into truck convertibles on full size trucks. I have seen some older imports that looked good. 79 F250s are starting to bring better money. Is it a 4x4?
No snow here, but it rained here two days ago. I think it may have rained a little yesterday too but I was indoors by then. Cloudy today, but no idea if rain is coming as I have not checked the weather guessers yet.
No no it’s a 2wd it has the 460 with the Dana 60 rear end.

Happy Thursday Nevada and friends. A convertible pickup truck eh? If you do it, make sure to add extra bracing to compensate for the lack of structural integrity when you chop the top off.
I have seen some convertible trucks that were done well and looked good, but there are a lot more that don't make the mark.
It will really depend on how well you can fabricate and what you plan to do with the bed that will make or break it.
