I have a 1989 f350 that the drivers side wheels locked up and the axel won't come out tried 2' slide even and still won't budge . Any help would be great thanks in advance!!!
Wheels, plural? Both front and rear? Or is this a dually?
If a rear axle, could it just be glued in place by a previous batch of silicone sealer?
It would be nice if it's that simple, but I'm just throwing something out there to get you back to the top. On the surface it sounds like two separate issues, but if an axle broke and jammed up inside, that could cause both.
Do you know if your differential is a limited-slip?
yes Paul limited slip and it's the rear end sterling 10.25 up on stands the passenger side will turn while in gear the driver side is locked . I heated where the axel bolts in with heat gun and used a two foot slide hammer and it won't budge
