If there is a forum monitor in here, I'd suggest moving this thread to a "Sync Application" forum. I'm an Expy owner and found this thread by accident. This post however, is Model agnostic. Someone might creating this same thread under another model.

Got mine installed and updated, and then it kept trying to dial my phone number. I would have to kill Blue Tooth for it to work. I finally did a "Master Reset" and added my phone back and now all is good.
It sucked I had to add my stuff back but now it is working well. Glad I did the upgrade, I am liking the ability to slide the bar when listening to MP3, and it changed some of the graphics. I really like it just wished we had gotten a full 10" screen, but I am sure it is coming in the near future. It also seems much snappier (faster) as well.
I need to check the Ford apps, when I asked it to search for apps it didn't come back with anything but Android Auto with Pandora works fine, so not a problem. Overall happy with the upgrade.
File is 1.5 GB for those that want to know.

I have a 100mb internet connection at the house and it took over an hour to download. I’m assuming the sync server was very busy.
Anyway, I got it installed on the drive home. Sync rebooted after 5 minutes and it took another 15 to get the upgrade complete screen. It takes a key cycle for sync to show the new version data.

I tried to update mine to 3.0 last night via thumb drive and it wouldn't work. I got an error every single time I tried. When I unzip the file, it doesn't create the "syncmyride" folder. i tried with and without the folder it it always failed. I was able to do an OTA, but it only gives me 2.3. I'm going to try the thumb drive again tonight, but this is getting frustrating. The OTA download is painfully slow.

Yes. It's brand new and I formatted with exFat like the directions said. I've even erased it and reformatted a few times. I'm using a MacBook pro and followed the Mac instructions, but will try a Windows laptop this weekend.

I used my iMac for the update and it worked flawlessly but I didn`t use the built in ZIP expander because it doesn`t work very well.
The one that I have used for the last two updates is one that I downloaded from the Mac App store and it works perfectly and it`s totally free.
If this interest you and you`d like to try it, it`s called Extractor-Unarchiver and it should be the first thing that comes up in the Mac app store if you type in Extractor. It`s a bright green folder.
Have a great day.
