Help with dull paint appearance

I have a 99 F-250 that is a work truck. It has had magnets on both doors most of its life. However it is being retired from magnet duty. The problem is the magnets have made the paint have a dull appearance. Is there a polish or wax that restores the shine. Can i just buy a small can of clearcoat and spray the area? Just looking for some experienced answers.

Help with dull paint appearance

Try a light weight rubbing compound like 3M puts out and a good wax.
