2016 6.7 vs 2017 6.2
#61
When towing versus the 6.7 the 6.2L is a dog. That's all I'm saying. I said when empty the 6.2L is ok.

Just because the 6.7 is mental, doesn't make the 6.2 a dog. When I'm sitting in a Saturn V rocket, your 6.7L seems like a dog. Is it?
The 6.2 is the best gas engine Ford's made since..........well just about forever. It's better than the 460, 302, 4.6, 5.4, 6.8, 5.8 etc. etc. It completely lays waste to the GM 5.0, 5.7, 6.0, and 6.2L engines. And it's a better mill than the Dodge gasser. It compares fairly well to the 7.3L diesels that we loved so much.

I’ve had three power strokes in a row, and have all been purchased new.
7.3, 6.0 and 6.4. No 6.7 yet, but I plan on it in 2020.
I ended up with this gasser GMC as a work truck. The powerbands and drivability are so different. The gasser is a better daily driver.
Bottom line is that there is very little towing torque in my gas GMC. It falls flat on its face when hooked to a load. On the positive side, they still make both, and each has their positives and negatives.
