Joe, I hope you had a great day as well! I for one miss seeing your posts here! Stop by more often.
Mark
Thanks Mark.
I don't come here often any more. I really don't have anything to help others, and I don't have Betsy any more so no more stupid questions to ask about her.

Hanging out with some friends. Irish and scotch food and laughter.
We had corned beef and cabbage on Friday night at the Elks lodge, and again last night along with a couple of Guinness.

Shamrock Shake.
Had to do it. They taste way better today than they did 30 years ago.
I have to admit I've never had one... Something to look forward to next year.

It looks like you found yourself a 'new' truck? She looks like a sweetie!

Yes, I like my new truck. When I got Betsy, I had no idea it would be such a great learning opportunity (and money pit). But this truck was ready to drive, has a rebuilt engine and a 5 speed trans so I can drive safely at highway speeds. I don't do that very often, but I can if I want to.
I still have a few things I want to do to the truck (that still remains nameless), but they're nothing to keep it off the road for very long.
Joe, March 17, 1966 was the last day the Studebaker plant in Canada had a car come off the line. I still come here to ask questions as the people on this forum are more helpful than any other I’ve ever been on. Even though I sold the F3 and have an orphan Studebaker!! Lol.
So come back as your comments have always been enjoyed and helpful. I’ll even buy that green shake next year.
Have fun
Joe, still planning on coming to Central PA mountain Truckstock? You can bring your modern 65. Just promise that if we take a cruise you won't drive too fast.

I agree completely about this forum. I could not have done everything I did to Betsy without the help here. But it's a lot more than that. Yes, the folks here are helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, cheerful... I know, sounds like Boy Scouts... but it's always a pleasure to be here and I made a lot of friends. Now I spend more time on the 61 to 66 forum, as I have all the rookie questions about my "new" truck.

I don't think we're going to make it now. We have a lot of outside influences on us that may not be removed until November. Time will tell, but it's getting really late to make a reservation. I checked the hotel a couple of weeks ago and there were no rooms available until the day everyone is going home. And we're not set up to camp any more. When I quit Scouting after 20 years as an adult leader, we got rid of all our camping gear. I told Kathy I was never going to sleep in a sleeping bag again.
