1992 ford explorer speaker sizes

what are the sizes for a 1992 ford explorer 4 door? also if anyone has some suggestions for some good speakers, let me know.

1992 ford explorer speaker sizes

My Crutchfield catalog says 6x8 in front and rear doors, 3 1/2" depth (front) 4" depth (rear), 11/16" height. I havent had the door panel off my 92 since I fixed the door handle my wife pulled off the passenger side, and I thought it was 5x7, but it's been a long time. The Crutchfield catalogs are usually pretty accurate.

Crutchfield is awsome for getting size info but they are not allways accurate. First are you using the stock radio? Second do you want a speaker with some bass or more vocals?
