Turned off my truck (94 F-350) to put gas in. Nothing wrong. Got back in, turned the key to ON to get the mileage then started it up. Now I have a battery light lit constantly and according to the gauge, it's not charging. Alternator or should I chase something else first? Can NAPA or O'Reilleys check the alternator right on the truck or does it have to be removed?
Yes have the charging system checked should be putting out 14-14.5 volts also the regulator runs the light sometimes they go bad.. At least on delco units.
