PCV Valve - 2005 Ford Expedition Limited
We think my girlfriend's truck might be burning oil. We heard a possible, simple fix might be replacing the PCV valve, so we figured we'd try that before taking it to a mechanic.
Anyway, we've watched tons of videos and tutorials for replacing valves on other Ford trucks built around the same time, but we can't find one for the 2005 Expedition, and we can't find anything that looks like a PCV valve when we look under the hood.
I've attached some photos of the engine.
Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

The PCV valve on the 3V engine which came in the '05 and newer Expeditions doesn't have a replaceable PCV valve. It's considered a "lifetime unit" at this point, and it's integral to the valve cover on drivers side. If you want to replace it, you need to replace the valve cover on drivers side. The outlet from the valve is where the thick insulated black tube is connected, and it goes up to a PCV heater system in the intake manifold.
