Trying to make my mind up on which hitch to buy. I have a 2017 F350 Super cab long bed dually and would like to know approximately how much my truck will squat with a 3000lb pin weight. I know there are not that many SCLB duallys out there, so would also appreciate you CCLB dually guys (or girls) answering too. I would assume both would squat about the same. FWIW, I'm looking at either a Hensley BD3 or a B&W Companion/Trailair combination. I've already received feedback from several folks out there on the hitches, so mainly wondering about the truck squat. But if you have either of the hitches that I'm considering and didn't see my other posts, feel free to give me your opinion.
My 5th wheel has an empty pin weight of 2825 lbs according to the manufacturer. I purchased the Ford Reese 27,500 lbs 5th wheel hitch and replaced the factory bump stops with Timberns and have about a 2.5 inch squat. I feel the truck tows very well. 2017 F350 DRW 4x4 cc long bed.

Reason: missing info
My trailer has a pin weight of 3,850 lbs as per weigh scale and made my truck squat just to the overload springs. No air bags or Timberns on the truck. I can't help you on the hitch as I have the 27,500 lb Ford (Reese Elite) factory hitch.
I have 3100 pounds of hitch weight on my fifth wheel and the squat is right at 2 inches. I have a Trailer Saver BD3 air ride hitch and the ride is great.
2600# makes my F450 (same springs I think) squat 2# when I drop it on. I was surprised by this, but after driving it, removing the weight raises the truck 2.5". It seems you need to have it bounce a little to settle in at the real squat height.

Do you have the factory puck mount? If so, what adapter did you use? Do you have a bed cover? I'm installing a Bakflip and want to make sure the Hensley will fit under it when not towing.
Also, I noticed that Hensley has come out with a BD5, which has the puck connection built in (no adapter needed). It also has 3 airbags and 4 shocks. I wonder if it will be more stiff than the BD3, maybe too much for my pin weight.
3050 lbs pin weight on my Fuzion...levels out the truck with nothing else added. I have a BakFlip MX4 and strap it down on the first fold...lots of room with the trailer hooked up.
