I have a 2004 ford f250 6.0 and I was pulling a trailer up a steep hill and it just stoped pulling I have to back down the drive way and start again is my tranny going out
Do you think it's slipping?
Do the RPM go up but the truck doesn't move when in gear?
If the answer is yes than transmission is junk.
If truck drives ok without the trailer than something with the turbos system is going bad

drives fine like it never happen a friend of mine said it might be the TCM going out
Yes i think it is slipping very little when I slow down make a turn and get back in the throttle it seems like it's not changing gears fast enough but I back out of it and it will change and go on and when it stopped pulling on the hill with the trailer it would rev up but would t go any where unroll I backed down the hill
