Our experience with finding used Torklift hold downs has been that they are so vehicle specific, it took a while to find front ones that would fit our truck. A '15 F-350 long bed. My wife finally found them, but the shipping from NE to UT was $53. Something to keep in mind when looking for them. We're not really complaining too much about the shipping due to getting a killer deal on the hold downs. Torklift sort of has a lock on the hold down market and they price them accordingly.

This is from my local Cap-it. I need to call around for another quote.
FWIW, I just bought (4) new Happijac Qwik Loads, similar to the Fast Guns for about $250US including shipping. I haven't received them yet, so I can't speak to the quality yet. I may have to use a small section of chain on the front ones. We'll see.

Torklift is an advertising juggernaut, but that is about all they have convinced me of. I think Happijac does just fine and have seen no hard data to convince me otherwise.

tie down was rusty because i hadnt yet POR 15 them this winter when i picked up the camper.
They are pretty proud of thier parts for sure. I have some friends that were able to fab some frame tie downs for me, cost a total of $300 but they worked perfectly. The used camper i bought came with some old funky spring loaded cans and chain with a swivel handle connect disconnect, but i think I'll spend the $130 and get some stainless turnbuckles that are spring loaded up front and dampered in the rear..I will show the finished tie downs and mounts later . But these spring loaded fastners are bizzare , cant find anything like them . the rears were not spring loaded and it damaged one side from too much stress .I had to pull the aluminium off the side and repair that one.

I think what folks forget is no one was having a problem with tie downs or turn buckles before Torklift came on the scene. I think their stuff works fine and some of it makes things more convenient. Some of it I think does not improve on what other brands do. You just spend you bucks for what makes you feel good.
