Need suggestions, bought new fifth wheel. Hitch weight roughly 2600 lbs, any thoughts or ideas for load assist? Truck rides nose up with camper hitched up. Tried air bags but brackets wouldn’t work with factory “puck” hitch installed.

Welcome to FTE!!
and we nedd a suggestion...........like what truck are you asking about. Make, model, year, etc would be a big help. With that information, we can then help you.
You have to get air bags. Sure you can buy a heavier spring pack but it will ride stupid when you are not towing. Got mine from here. Firestone Air Bags, Ride-Rite Air Spring Kits for Pickups
Call them on the phone for help. I had the B&W hitch and had to remove the side plates to get one of the bolts in. I tow a lot so I added the onboard compressor.
2600 # puts an F350 nose up? Sounds like you're going on the manufacturers brochure. My fifth wheel pin weight is nowhere near that, but I haul measured 2200 # several times a year and it barely sags in the rear. I'm not saying that your truck can't haul your fifth wheel, but when you get the air bags on, get it weighed so you know where you stand with everything you're going to be loading up.
Air bags are definitely the best option. But there are others, like timbren's and sumo springs. The timbrens are super easy to install and a lot of members on here give them really good reviews.

I just removed the Timbrens on my 2016 DRW and had Airlift 5000 Ultimates installed with the onboard WirelessONE compressor, I have the factory pucks and installer had no problems. My hitch weight is much higher than yours with a 43‘ toy hauler, the Timbrens helped but I was still nose high enough to blind oncoming traffic when dark. Timbrens may solve your problem but the downside will be unloaded ride quality, since they sit much closer to the axle they will make contact when you go over bumps, etc.
I air my bags down to single digits (supposed to keep at least 5 psi in Firestone bags all the time, since they don't have an internal bump stop). At that single digit pressure, it feels just like stock suspension ride. If I'm aired up on my bags for towing my 5er, then yeah, it rides like a brick in the back. But that's the nice thing about bags, you can take the air out and have a stock ride again.
