changin axle u joints
how hard is it to change the front axle u joints on an f150? i have the haynes manual but it is very technical. i just did my brake pads and i used the article published here. it was 10 times easier to understand. i know i have to pull the axle shafts out, but will anything happen to the gear carrier when i do that? are there any c clips on this axle? i've never done this before and i'm dteremined not to bring it to a mechanic (long story). i haven't had to yet, but this seems a little daunting. thanks.
