Hello everyone
Just changed the brakes on my 95 Aerostar and the front brake chatter and pull to the right when the brakes are applied...what might it be?
thanks

Well, hope you bled the air well out system, then as above did you change both rotors and pads, or just pads ??? I also have a 1995 XLT V6 3.0 the rotors get warped over time and need to been turned .... I know mine need to be turned ... I have new breaks but took a short cut and didnt turn the rotors so now I have a little shutter when applying breaks from the flat pads and warped rotor not to mention I probably have cut the life of the pad in half.
If the pads/rotors are not contminated with grease as mentioned above, then it is possible one side of the caliper is hanging up on the slide - pads are not applying equal pressures. Take caliper and pads back off, clean the caliper slide and caliper mating surfaces with a wire brush and apply thin film of caliper brake lubricant to slides. Also, make sure you are putting the caliper pins back in the correct way.
Also, the inner pad has a tendency to drop out of its mounting points when replacing the caliper assembly. Ensure both pads seated correctly in the caliper.
