I am trying to install a new window kit, but I cannot get the glass to go back in is there a trick to this . It starts out on the bottom but slides out half way up. Whay am I missing. Thanks

sounds like you have the window and door regulator already installed.

You need to remove both regulators, place the glass on its guide and drop inside the bottom of the door.

Install the regulators then raise the glass into place and attach to regulator and lock with the two clips.

 

I have the regulators out. When I slide it in from the bottom it wants to come out of the track. One proublem is the sorry kit I bought at the swap meet. Nothing fits right, ihave ordered a new kit from Dennis Carpenter should have done that the first time but tried to save money, and ended up spending more.

 

Have you tried assembling it outside ofhe door?

I am missing something here on how it comes out of the track. There should be a rubber welt that fits between the glass and the guide. To get the glass into the door you have to place the top in first, raise it until the entire glass fits inside the door.

PS. We have all lerned this lesson the hard way...

 

Got my glass installed today . What a differance a quality kit sure makes things easier. The hardest part is getting the regulator in because the divider bar is in the way.
