2004 Crew Cab
I am curious about the back seat of the crew cab. Does is fold? I currently have an 00 F-250 SD, super cab, Lariat; and the bottom part of the back seat folds up. I was wondering if the back seat of the crew cab does this yet. When I ordered my 00, the crew cabs DID NOT do that, which is why I did not get on in the first place. The back seat is for my dogs, and I NEED it to fold up! TIA.

Yes, it does. That was one of the changes for 2004 and long overdue.
The seatbacks will fold down giving you a carpeted surface on the top, though it's pretty high up due to the thickness of the seats.
You can also fold the seat-bottoms up against the backs and then there is a fold-out metal tray that gives you a nice, rugged, flat storage area in front of the seats. There's even a couple of grocery bag hooks on the bottom of the driver's-side seat that you can then hang the plastic bags from.
The seat is a 60/40 split with the larger side behind the driver.
I wish that the 2004 F-150 SuperCrews had the same design, then they'd be a lot more functional!
