What to do? My truck sits like it has a california rake... Can anyone tell me how to make it sit even. I would prefer it to sit even with the rear height than the front. I have a 1973 f250 2wd long bed. I don't haul anything heavy, but I also don't want to lower the rear. I just wish I could make it look like the newer trucks, in its stance not its looks. Thanks

 

Most trucks have a slight rake this is for when haulind things the truck can sit even and perform better. The only way to fix it is to (besides lowering the rear) is to lift the front. other than that I'm all out of Ideas.

 

I have the same problem with my F-250. You can always raise the front to compensate but I like the rake...

I have a 76 F-100. It had quite a tilt. I replaced the front coils with factory coils and raised the front nearly three inches. Needless to say, the coils were shot. My alignment is better and so is the ride. If your 2wd is 25 years old, chances are the front coils are shot. Consider replacing them.

I got a new set of coils for $86 in 1999 in detroit. Changed them myself in about an hour.
