transmission question

Wondering if I can put a 390 out of a 62 tbird in my 74 f100 with a 360 currently. The 390 has a FMX transmission attached to it.

1961/67 Thunderbird w/a 390 has MX Cruise-O-Matic.

FMX introduced in 1969, was not installed behind FE (352/360/390/410/427/428) engines.

1958/64 FE engines have a different bolt pattern on the block for the motor mounts than 1965/76 FE engines.

These engines also have rounded valve covers without holes for oil cap/smog valve, have an engine oil fill tube at the right front.

Sorry I meant to say MX.....are they interchangeable? MX and c6?
