NCFTE Official 2018 Spring Fling Thread
NCFTE Official 2018 Spring Fling Thread:
When: April 20th through April 22nd
Where: Lower Loop Campground at Badin Lake https://www.recreation.gov/camping/b...O&parkId=73840
Time: Anytime. Come a day early or stay a date late.
Big Dinner on Saturday evening. Come for the day.
Lots 20, 21, 22 already reserved by us. There are a few more available but seems to be filling up so jump on it if you're coming.
Let the food preparations begin.

Site 18 in lower loop is booked. As for what to bring to cook, I have some ideas. The meat is covered right? So I am thinking sides. I can make the bacon potatoes I made last year and/or some grilled cabbage with fatback. Thoughts?

No way I can be down there on Thursday. I'm going to try to be there Friday before the gates close. I'm taking off Monday from work.
I can bring sides and dessert for Saturday. And some breakfast stuff for Sunday morning.

I just reserved site 2 on the other side of the of the loop. Trying to secure the area for sound. Lol. I am going to make a run up to the mountains and pick up some of my regular party contributions. See if we can get an appearance from Marty the glass eater or maybe even Darth Bob.
