Thanks for the replies I’m gonna look into a TCI C6 or C4 although my research is getting mixed reviews on transmissions from them some people love them some say they will never buy a TCI product again

Hi , im putting a TR4250 tremec ,into my 86 f150 , it was the gear banga special , short shift shifter , its identical to the 3550 and has 3.27 1st and the .68 5th , just sorting out a few more parts and adaptors , my AOD is getting tired . Will be using a hydraulic clutch .Have you seen video on you tube.

Thanks for the video, I really would like to put a Tremec TKO 5spd in my truck but it seems like more trouble than I really want to deal with so I’m gonna go with a C6 I’ll leave the 5spd for my 93 Cobra, I’m also dialing back the engine I was gonna put in the truck instead of building a stroker I’m now gonna build a 357w I just got my AFR 185s in the other day and hell I may even say screw it to my 81 Bullnose and go get me a Dentside
