Anyone have suggestions? 15, 215, 79- took a drive down South-ish
Hello friends!
Took a seat of my pants drive down to Temecula for a few days. I've mostly been eating my way up and down the 215, 15 and 79. I went to a swap meet in winchester but I don't really know much about these areas. If anyone has any suggestions (truck related or not) I'd love to hear them. I'm near all the antiques, so that can definitely take up my day, but I'd rather find a gem of a car or truck or motorcycle show, a junk yard, an animal preserve, berry picking, etc.
Thanks for reading! I'm wide open. Heading back to Venice tomorrow. Not that this area is so far, but whenever I come through I can't ever spend time enjoying the area.

Pechanga Casino located at the south end of Temecula, on the east side of the freeway.
Pala Casino located on the Pala Indian Reservation, east of the freeway on Highway 76, about 10 miles south of Temecula.
Avocado and fruit stands located along Highway 76. There are more casino's east of Pala.
The only CA mission still serving the native Americans is in Pala, there's also a museum, but it doesn't open till noon.
I don't know of any junkyards in this area. You can drive the back roads in this area looking for old vehicles.

Thanks! Last time I was here for work I lost some hours on the slot machines, I didn't even think about that! And I can watch baseball...
Definitely want to check out the fruit stands. I read about a dairy farm (DeJong, I think) and I definitely want to bring home some milk and eggs and more importantly chocolate milk.
Thank you!

Saw the Crescent Bathhouse. So cool! The lake was beautiful. They've really cleaned up the little historical area, thank god. Last time I was there it was like the apocalypse had come and gone.
Back in old town Temecula, saw a little old car show, and helped jump an old Chevy c30. Not a bad day!
