Help! My wife has a 2002 Mountianteer w/ 25k + miles. The transmission will slip at times. Had it to the dealer, said we need a fluid change, which we did was due @ 30k. No help if anything it is worse.
Sometimes it seems like the torqe is chattering. My wife drives about 15 miles 1 way to work, the dealer is right beside her workplace. They tell her they can't find nothing wrong. I don't belive the service man can find the problem. Anyone else had a problem?
We have one moe problem, the outside temp registers approx. 15 degrees high. Sometime back I seen a post on this board about the sensor being bad. I did a serch but didn't find anything.
My wife loves the SUV but she is now getting gun shy. I wonder now if my new 03 Explorer will have the same problems?
I hope it is nothing to do with ZERO % loans.
