Getting fuel?

Getting fuel?

1995 E-350 was running good then quit.

Whats the best way to check to see if its getting fuel?
I have a suspicion its out of diesel.

Check fuel pressure at Schrader valve on the fuel bowl. You can use a cheap pencil type tire pressure gauge. You should see at least 40 lbs. while cranking.

I have a suspicion its out of diesel??? If you meant this just go get 5 gal in a can and put it in the tank. Does you gauge show fuel?

Yes the guage shows fuel , but just dumping diesel in it doesn't prove anything.
If it was run out , it still probably wont start.

that's why I need a way to tell if its getting diesel?

Open up the fuel bowl and look inside.
