Unfortunately, I took interest in this one, texted the guy, been exchanging dialog for a week, he sent me a crummy pic of the VIN plate on the dash, when I asked for the door jamb sticker, I asked for the sticker again, meanwhile I was able to make out the VIN plate numbers, since then I've been on the phone with 3 law enforcement divisions, and 2 DMV's. The short of it, the current owner stated, when asked about having the title, that he never received one when he purchased it, asked if it can be driven, he says, it can but idk what's wrong with it. Sends me a bunch of good pics, with a thumb over the license plate. I eventually learn no reports of theft, and it's currently titled in GA with a lien recorded against it, car fax states it has a salvage title of which GA says is not so with the GA title. Too bad, I was interested in a complete parts vehicle.

My guess is he bought it with the lien on the title, or is defaulting out on paying for it and is trying to sell it for parts so the vehicle disappears and he skips out on the loan. When they quit running they quit paying.

That's what I'm thinking, too bad, if it wasn't for the lien, I would buy it, but as long as there is a recorded lien, the lien-holder has first right to the vehicle.
