Ordering new F350, 6.2, 3.73, SCSB. Carpet or "Carpet Delete", the "good, the bad, the ugly"?
I have a dog, the carpet delete is my favorite option on my truck ! Never understood of carpet in a vehicule, we remove it from our houses , why have it in your car ?
Carpet delete is good choice for me. Living in MI there is a lot of salt spread in winter and it gets crusty in the carpet eventually.
I find the vinyl floor covering to be good quality, is not overly shiny and it has a padded backing. I do use Husky x-factor floor liners. Clean up is easy with wet towel..
We ordered a carpet delete and the vinyl is super nice. I like carpet in our cars, but in a truck that I’ll be getting into with muddy shoes, vinyl is the way to go.
Carpet with husky liners that cover it. I like the sound deading that carpet can help with.
As far as acoustics go, the stereo can be a bit harsh with all vinyl. I added seat covers and It mellowed out tremendously. If you're referring to road noise there's no difference between vinyl and carpet that I have noticed.
Vinyl flooring is one of my favorite things about my new truck. Never understood why they put carpet in a vehicle, then you spend a fortune buying floor mats to cover it up and protect it. I did put some cheapie floor mats in the front just to make it easier to dump out the dirt, but otherwise a quick vacuum and wipe with a damp towel, and it looks good as new.
Carpet is a quick vacuum clean, the vinyl flooring needs to be vacuumed and wiped down otherwise it remains dirty looking like any other hard surface. Carpet hides a lot

I'm not so sure about that... I've had more vinyl than I've had carpet in the last 45 years. I'll take vinyl and Armor-all any day of the week. You won't regret it.
