Rock and too Much Roll

Hi yes this is an expedition,,,2000 xlt. I changed it from air 4wd to shocks and springs using the monroe kit. Seemed fine but it has a lot of body roll. I thought the shocks might be weak but in my reading it seems like the sway bar might be too small but the front one is 1-7/16 inch. I need to see if there is one in the rear. Seems like one in the back can help with the roll if there is not one. I need to inspect all the links and bushings but even if those where worn it would not make it have so much roll.
I will have to see if there is a bar in the rear.

rock and roll

That thread is an explanation on how the air system works but as soon as you remove it and the relay for it none of those things work. So the roll factor must need some better stabilizer and sway bars...right?

I just looked at the rear of the beast. I see a stablizer bar that goes across the back of the rear end and is support by two long rods. I just glanced at end but one end is higher than the other end in relationship to the rear end. I suspect that is wrong and the supports might be loose or broken. That would explain everything. Can someone very that the rod going across the back of the rear end should be level with the rear end?

Not sure if your looking at the panhard rod or the stabilizer rod back there.
But be sure and carefully evaluate the rear control arms, both upper and lower.
The rear lowers have a habit of rotting out and allowing the rear axle too much movement.
