It would appear the truck has the long bed and 118" wheelbase. As a general rule, it will never be worth what a comparable short bed truck would bring in similar condition. The tailgate and rear fender modifications would seem to indicate this truck has seen some hard work days on the farm. The fact that somebody once parked it in a barn does not necessarily make it worth more either. Just about every sheetmetal part shows a need for significant work. All of these trucks have rust so you would have to get under it to see how significant the real rust issues are.

All things considered, six grand does seem high to me. Remember that the truck is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.

Huh, how have I missed that one for a year. I would disagree that it has lived a hard life. Looks like it was built for a slide in camper. I bet that tailgate is mint. It would also explain that super long rear bumper thing and flares on the box. The radio is also a mystery. Both ***** stacked on the right side. And check out the rear wheels. Super wide 5 lug innie nub? I have NEVER seen or heard of anything like that. Thats gonna be a question for Truckdog/Stu. And I would say it's overpriced. That's why it's still for sale!

I think you are correct. The more I look at it, the more it does look like a home brew "Camper Special". The hooks on the sides of the bed also go with that theory. The unusual radio is most likely an after market item. Alas, the truck is still overpriced.
