Honestly I don’t have an image to pull up in front of me to send you. I would recommend replacing the entire distributor if I were you. I have a motorcraft distributor with less than 1000 miles on it with a new module attached to it. I pulled it from my 86 300 when I converted to a duraspark II ignition. PM me if you are interested.
Thanks,
Cody

It would be the pick up coil inside the dist.
The pick up coil is the thing with the wires connected to it inside and has a plug on the out side.
Some times the wires break inside the insulation so you cant see the bad wire.
I guess you could use an ohm meter to check the coil I just don't know what the reading would be.

No spark is either the box,
pickup coil in the dist not sending signal to the box,
no power to coil and/or box

If so then that is the box. I cant follow what everyone have on their trucks to make spark LOL
I will let someone who knows that system to post up what to check next.

J,
I think those dangling wires at the back of the engine are meant to be that way, for test ports or some option delete. Mine had em just like that.
As for the one near the alternator where does it end? Can't really get a good look at it from the pic.
Also, It looks like theres a big gaping gash in the brake booster vac line in the 3rd photo? That wouldn't cause it not to spark though.
I think your problem's that the ignition is not getting enough voltage--there is a short or loose connection somewhere.
OR your battery and alternator have failed. There might be enough juice to crank, but not enough is getting to coil
Make sure the engine block is grounded well.
