New Order Lead Time
hey fellas,
I placed the order for my new 2018 F250 ultimate lariat the first of the year (likely actually placed with Ford on the 2nd). Does anyone have any insight on lead time/delivery of these new trucks? Anyone placed an order recently and received their truck?
I told my dealer that Ford is somewhat dropping the ball on not having a way for new orders to be tracked better. I would be logging in and watching every step of the way if it was possible.

It’s on about page 5/6 now. 250’s seem to be running between 8-9 we s. There is another comment somewhere that this is moving towards 15wks. Have Only seen this once though so cannot verify it. There does not seem to be a whole lot of reason to the schedules from what I can see but then I am not scheduling the orders either ��

Fleet orders are now anticipated at 18-20 weeks for Superduty, up from 14-16 weeks just a week prior. Although fleet orders would take longer than retail, this still indicates a growing backlog is occurring in recent weeks for Superduty.

There is a ton of information around here about tracking orders and how Ford processes orders. Seems as if order demand, production issues and your dealer's allocation are the biggest factors. I googled Ford Lead times when I ordered mine and Donlen quoted 10-12 weeks , now it shows 16-18 weeks. Hopefully it is demand and not production issues.
I ordered 1/2/18 and haven't received anything from the dealer except we are monitoring for updates blah...blah...blah.

Ordered a Platinum F350 CCSB SRW on 1/16/18 and currently have a build date of 2/18/18 and an estimated delivery date of March 1-7.
The dealer should have very clear info for you in their system if they'll take the time to look. My dealer just showed me the screen this past weekend when I stopped by to say hi.

I just checked for a window sticker and one has populated for my build. From what I have read is a sticker typically populates a few days before the scheduled build date, which is 2/18 in my case. Fingers crossed the dates quoted by dealer hold up.

Ordered a Lariat F350 CCSB SRW 6.2L on 1/16/18. 8 days later, received estimated build date of 2/17/18 and on 2/8/18 received window sticker. Haven't asked for estimate delivery date yet...will follow-up after it's built.

I was told a few days ago that the sticker would show up in about three weeks. I ordered a Lariat F350 CCSB SRW 6.7 ultimate on 12/21/17. I e-mailed the dealer on 1/23 inquiring if a VIN had been issued. Got a reply and VIN on 1/25. After he told me another three weeks for the sticker, I checked the http://www.windowsticker.forddirect....icker.pdf?vin= site and it was there. Thanks to this forum and the great info available here. Not sure why he couldn't see the sticker? I never asked him about a build date - I guess I assumed he would tell me if he knew.
