I believe that would mean changing the faceplate which is illuminated by the lights. That or there's a color filter between it and the lamps which may be swappable.. you'd have to open it up and check. Anything's possible.
This really isn't that hard. What you need to do is go to your local truck stop (Semi fueling station) and look at all the toys that truckers can get. There are three options that I know of for you....
1. Painted bulbs, cheapest but in time the paint, no matter what color, turns brown and dims the lights.
2. Colored glass bulbs not real cheap but they retain the color
(until they burn out)
3. Heres what I used, They make a product that looks kind of like a small balloon that fits over the 194 style bulb that is used in your dash (they also make them for the 11 series bulbs under the dash) they are available in many colors and can be transfered to new bulbs when the old ones burn out.
They are about $3.99 per half dozen.
