Sold my last Bronco 13 years ago, a 96 Eddie Bauer, and it's been the only truck I've ever regretted selling. Today I finally had the chance to pick up another one. It's a little rusty around the edges in all the common places, but nothing that can't be remedied. Long term plan will be a full restoration, but for now it's a Bronco.
The picture probably does it slightly more justice than it deserves. The tailgate is toast, the rear fenders are rough and it's starting to get into the driver side B pillar and rockers. Plus a few dings and a bent bumper. While it's certainly far from the worst I had seen, I mainly bought it because it's a complete 96 Eddie Bauer (5.8l) and 90% of the trim pieces and interior are in good shape.
I haven't yet decided if I'll save this body or try to pick up another rust free one down the road. Having this one certainly opens up my options though.
It's a multiyear plan, I don't expect it to come to fruition for quite some time.
It's maroon and tan. Not the biggest fan of maroon. I may paint it black eventually, or green like my last one.
