Rough until warm 7.3

I have a 2000 7.3 and it runs sluggish until it gets warm and then it's like a light switch smooths out and runs great. Any ideas what to look for?

Yeah, injectors. How many miles on them? I had the same thing going on, replaced them all.

285k never turned a bolt on truck...lol, Also have oil in valley of intake and looks to be running down backside of bellhousing. Truck has only had 1 oil leak since ive owned it and that was on drivers side oil pan area a round tube in the cold winter time would chunk out a little oil. Still need to fix that also

You can give your injectors a more life if you shim them. I used this kit and comes with everything to shim them including tools.

308K mils on mine, and it's been doing the same thing for 60K-75K miles. I have the shim kit, but haven't found my ROUNDTUIT yet. I just let it idle until all the injectors are firing (only an extra 1-5 minutes for where I live (it's an ambient temperature thing).

Could be stiction and “possible” some of the oil additives could buy you some time. May be worth a shot. May not work but won’t hurt anything. Have definitely worked for some.
I’d look into those oil leaks though. check hpop lines. They are likely in need.
