I bought an led Fuel/air raito gauge and hooked it up only to find it says I am running full rich all the time... I double checked my connections and do not see a problem there.. What gives? Anyone have any ideas? The only thing I can think of is I split my exaust to true duals (cats and all) with an H pipe. Added a Superchip and ram air....... It is a 95 7.5L (460) with speed density induction.... I hear the SD systems do not take well to more air in or out... What about this any comments? What else could be causing it to run so rich all the time? Any help would be great.
Have a great day!

Too much done to list here but I'll be glad to share if you ask me!
how much did the gauge cost and were did you get it at?
I am thinking I might be having the same trouble with mine, might be the idle bypass but I cleaned it and it didn't do much good.
Thanks
The gauge, is teh Autometer 2 1/6" Sport-Comp and I paid somewhere around 60-70 bucks at Summit... It should be working I have several of the Autometer SPort-Comps in both mechanical and electronic models and they all work fine... It has to be something with the truck tuning... or the O2 sensor, or even they way I hooked up the unit, but I double and triple checked the connections and they seem fine (According the the Autometer instructions which I verifyed against my shop manuals the wire colors are correct!)... How wuld I go about checking the idel circut... I guess I should drive the truck and see if it acts the same under load..... I was afraid to do that until I figured out what could be wrong... Anyone else know of anything else I can check? P L E A S E, I am stuck!
Have a great day!

Did the guage come with a heated O2 sensor?
If the sensor is not heated, and was not placed far enough up in the exhaust stream, it could give some false readings.
May best guess would be the stock O2 sensor that the ECM uses is wornout.
