05 headlight conversion. anthing better ??

05 headlight conversion. anthing better ??
Ok here we go again. another headlight question.
my 02 headlights are yellow again after two polishes.
I can barley see less than two house's up
I did read about the 05 conversion a while back.
I have not been on in over a year and don't know if anyone has come up with something better since then.
Is the 05 light bucket with the Hid projectors still the way to go ?

My 2010 came with the Aero style headlights. They were decent back then but once I got a car with HIDs I got spoiled .So I switched over to the XL style headlights that take a 5x7 old style bulb. Used TruckLite 5x7 LEDs and it's a lot brighter than the Aero with a better pattern too.

are you considering the XL mod?
Sounds like it may be the way to go for brighter lights.
My 2003 lenses are plastic and fogged. A new set will result in same issue in short order.
Are the XL TruckLite LEDs glass lenses?

The Truck-Lite lenses are polycarbonate. I imagine they're designed to be UV resistant. I see a lot of semis running them.
