'Service Engine Soon' Light
I was on my way home from a family vacation with my wife's '99 Super Duty when the 'service engine soon' light came on. All gauges were normal, so I finished the trip. The next morning, I had forgotten about it and drove it to church and back. No problems, but the light's still on. I told my wife not to drive it any more, and we're putting it in the shop on Wednesday, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
In case it matters, the truck only has 24,000 miles on it, and normally is used for short trips. Occassionally hauls a heavy load a short distance or goes on a long highway trip, maybe once a month. Oil & filter changed every three months, since milage is too low to go by.
