High miles on your 5.0?
Just curious how many miles do you have on your 5.0?
I'm looking at a 2012 5.0 that has about 150,000
How long should I expect it to last? My Yukon XL Denali 6.0 has 273,000. I'm hoping for just as much out of the 5.0.
Also what kind of mpg's should I expect? Supercrew 4x4 with a level and 33's.
Thanks for your input.

That's great to hear! I did end up buying that truck. It's got just over 155,000. Took it to the shop last week because it was running rough. Plug was cracked. They said they looked like originals even though the guy said he replaced them. So got all those replaced. But the coil is bad I think because the check engine light is on again. Other than that I'm loving my new F-150!

Wow almost 250000! My 2017 5.0 is a baby. Right now I have 17000. No regrets getting the 5.0. Love the truck love the 5.0. Hope to have it a long time problem free. Seeing that much milage makes me all warm and fuzzy!
This 5.0 forum is pretty slow maybe that's a good thing no problems to report. Just happy driving!!

The only issue I have had on the road, was the fuel pump fuse block burned up (but didn't take the fuse) causing a system shut down at 200K 1800 miles from home. Vehicle restarted and got us to safety. We replaced with a fuse relocation kit. I replaced the front wheel bearings at around 200k as a preventive. I bought this truck new with 15 miles - best vehicle I have ever owned.

My 2014 F150 service truck had 198,000 when I got rid of it. That was back in 2017 almost 2018. I usually get rid of vehicles at 200k or around that. It still ran fine and had no issues. The only repair was a water pump at 130,000. Set of shocks at 170,000. Other than typical air filter tires brakes oil changes services/maintenance it has no repairs

Currently sitting at about 82,000 on my 2011 FX4 Supercab 5.0L. Truck was my first brand new vehicle and its been great! No complaints on the 5.0L at all. Only thing that threw me off about it was the noise, my two prior trucks (1990 F-150 5.0 OHV and 2003 Ranger 3.0L) were both pushrod engines and were whisper quite, I've noticed these DOHC engines like the Coyote tend to be a little more noisy at idle, but once I figured out that was pretty normal for these engines I quit worrying about it and its been perfectly fine, zero complaints!

We had a fleet of 5.0F150s. The guy who owned the company loved Ford trucks. We routinely got 200,000 with nothing more than typical maintenance like brakes shocks fluids. The one breakdown I had was a water pump at 112000. Seems that some brainiac at Ford decided a plastic impeller in a water pump was a good idea to save some costs. Other than that I loved that F150. We had XL 5.0 long bed with the regular cab which had a small extra space behind the driver seat that was surprisingly spacious.
i, looking for a single cab short bed coyote to have as a daily driver.
