this should be an easy fix... =)

My truck won't start, won't even crank over, but it makes clicking noises as I turn the key. Put a charger on it for a few hours...with no change. Hit the starter a few times with a hammer...with no change. What's my next step?!? This web site is awesome!! As I've been reading alot of others messages some of you talk about "codes". Out of curiosity, what are "codes"? TVM!!

this should be an easy fix... =)

Assuming the battery is in good condition & its cables are clean & secure the next most common cause of the problem you describe is the starter solenoid .
