Hello all, glad to join this group, as it has already been very helpful to me. I hope I can return the favor!
I'm working on a '54 F-100 I bought 7 years ago as my first restoration project. I'm 100% self taught, on this truck (and it shows ). Since it was such a basket case, I decided to go 100% custom on the suspension ('02 Camaro SS front and rear), and a 6.0 LS motor (I know, I know, its blasphemy but I had to stick with what I know when I'm doing everything myself and for the first time). In hindsight, it was too much to take on for a first project, but I've learned a ton and made enough mistakes along the way to know better now.
Anyway, here is what it looked like when I got it:
