Putting a grille guard on and the instructions say to remove the anti-dive brackets if equipped. I do not know what anti-dive brackets are so, any feedback on that would be great.
I have attached a photo that shows the factory tow hooks and below those; is a "bracket" which may be anti-dive brackets?? Or maybe just something related to the lower air dam??
Hey Rustofer, thank you. Are those brackets shown in my photo, the anti-dive brackets?
The ones that are below the tow hooks and kind of look like scoops of sort...

so that's the real name of them.. interesting.. guess it makes sense since they're there to keep small cars from diving under the front bumper and you driving over them...
Hey, thank you to all who responded. Honestly, I thought the initial responses were "big truck guy's" jokes about smaller cars. I just got educated! Again, thank you to everyone! Great forum.

kylant - they do actually help..if the other vehicle has enough body to actually get caught. That vette is all fiberglass.. nothings going to help except for a bumper about 3 inches off the ground. But your normal yugo or escort.. they've got steel/aluminum to snag on those brackets.
Not sure what it’s like on ‘17+ but when I put a 2wd valance on my 2013, I removed them because they were visible but ended up remounting them 90* extending to the back of the truck using only one bolt. The fuel cooler became a low point without them but now the bracket is the low point while still being invisible with the shorter valance. Maybe it’s different for the new trucks but if someone wouldn’t mind checking, it could save someone one day!
Pictures added*.
The passenger side bracket is right beside the cooler.
