So I finally was able to take my 2018 F-250 6.7 supercrew Lariat 4x4 out for a drive from the dealer. Everything seems to work fine. Drives great. The only problem I noticed was when the truck was in Drive and stopped, there was a bit of a rattle in the dash. It goes away as soon as you move forward. This will drive me nuts. I told the salesman they will have to fix that.
Has anyone had that rattle? I'm wondering what is causing it.
They are telling me I can take possession on Monday.
Mine does the same. Seems to be the black plastic above the sliding storage cover. When I push up on the black plastic, the noise goes away.
Yep mine has a rattle just above the storage cover. Like you if I push up on the area the rattle/buzz goes away. I need to find time to take time to take it to the dealer.
So I finally have some answers from Ford. The rattle in the dash is being caused by a faulty torque converter, which they are replacing tomorrow. They said they replaced parts to fix the door rattle, but did not say exactly what they changed. I really hope they fix it since that dash rattle is damned annoying.
Just to update. It must have been the torque converter since the rattle is now gone. The door rattle is also gone thanks to the thicker door seals. Yay.

did you ever take your truck back to the dealership? I have the same rattle. Almost sounded like a small wire tapping the back of that piece of molding. I took everything apart, the screen surround etc and that piece in question. There’s nothing to it once you get in there. 2 7mm screws and a small plastic flange attaches the piece in question. I ended up stuffing some foam behind it just to see.... still rattles!
I have a low frequency rattle/rubbing while in gear and the vehicle is stopped but mine sounds like it is coming from behind the fire wall... sort of like a rubber bushing on some engine accessory is rubbing with the engine vibration while stopped. Had this since it was driven off the lot. 1,700 miles now and the noise is still present. 2019 power stroke. Anyone else with this description?

Did you ever find a fix for this? Mine makes a rattle when shifting into Drive and foot in the brake. It is a loud rattle that won’t go away.
I believe I did... I adjusted the hood bumps up a tad, but what I really think it was as ID'd already was the oil and tranny dipsticks. I just kept playing with them a bit and have not heard that noise for many miles... 10K on it now.

how do you adjust the hood bumps?
There is no rattle in park reverse or neutral but as soon as I drop into drive the loud noise starts up.
Ive tried to buffer the dipsticks too but not sure that helped.
