Bronco interchangeable parts?
Hey there, wondering if anybody knows if/what parts are interchangeable between 1966 F100 and any year of bronco. Looking to buy new exterior door handles specifically and they look pretty similar, but just want to be sure. Thanks!

The 66 Bronco will share many of the same components as the trucks do. Interior door and window handles, dash ***** etc.
67 Broncos have a different interior door and window handle (1 year only) -
68/77 Broncos have yet a different interior door & window handles and dash ***** - looks like these are shared with 68/72 trucks and some cars
Scott Drake lists the 66/77 Bronco exterior door handle as being the same as 65/66 Mustang & 64/65 Falcons and Comets. Some other sellers also list 69/70 Mustangs
It looks like the 61/66 F series uses it own ext. door handles according to Dennis Carpenter website.

The Ford trucks used door handle part numbers
RH Door Outside Handle - Includes attaching parts C3TZ-8122404-B 1
LH Door Outside Handle - Includes attaching parts C3TZ-8122405-B 1
Bronco used door handle part numbers
RH Door Outside Handle - Includes attaching parts C4DZ-6222404-A 1
LH Door Outside Handle - Includes attaching parts C4DZ-6222405-A 1
Looks like Bronco shared the door handle with
F - Mustang
X - Falcon
I suspect while similar they are not the same as a truck door handle - in fact as I look at the two on Dennis-Carpenters web site I can tell they are enough different that I wouldn't try it myself.

Tail lamps: 1964/64 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD Stylesides & 1966 Bronco.
Interior door and window crank handles: 1961/66 F100/1100 & 1966 Bronco.
Cigarette lighter: 1961/66 F100/1100 & 1966 Bronco.
Misc. dash *****: 1961/66 F100/1100 & 1966 Bronco.
Wheel covers (not hub caps): 1966/77 F100 & 1975/77 F150 2WD/4WD & 1967/77 Bronco.
These wheel covers were optional for F100/150's, standard equipment on Bronco's.
