Bear Claw Latches

Question. Has anyone installed bolt in bear claw latches in a 1957/1960 f100. The ones I see for sell only go to 1956. Looking at my doors the 56 looks the same as 57/60. Any info would help. TK Al

I've often wondered the same question about the Bear Claw latches. Sorry for being zero help to your question but I will be interested in the reply!

Door latches: 1953/55 is one type, 1956 is another. 1957/60 is different again.

Look closely, 1956 is different (upper pic) from 1957/60 (lower pic).
