80/83 Brake Booster Differences?

80/83 Brake Booster Differences?
My 1980 F150 brake booster self destructed. I am slowly rebuilding an '83 F150. Will the '83 booster fit the '80? The parts store wants $20 more for the older model and I'd like to swap for a new booster when I finally get the '83 on the road. The only difference I see is that the vacuum chamber of the '80 is thicker than that of the '83.
