what do these numbers mean
i know that this is a ford sitebut,a few guys in here are using chevy engines.i was just wondering if any of those guys using chevies could tell me what these numbers mean.these sre back by the bell housing 3956618 these other numbers are on the passenger side V0225HV

Bob, here is a decent guide to the other brand engines. There are a couple other sites I've found over the years. The important numbers I've found are stamped into a machined boss on the block in front of the passenger side head.
